A very special thank you

It is lovely to get surprises and it was particularly lovely to be surprised recently by The Tommy Wynne Memorial Fund Committee, who approached us with a donation for school funds. With financial pressure on everyone of late and school grants being cut every little helps. However the fund-raising committee  were particularly generous and delivered a bank draft worth €450  for the school's fund. On behalf of the entire school community we say thank you to everyone involved in the Tommy Wynne Memorial Vintage Tractor & Car Run  especially  Kathleen , Mary and Packie-Joe McGarry. HAPPY HALLOWEEN !!!!! School closes Friday 26th for mid-term break,but not before some serious Halloween fun and games. Everyone in the school is dressing up for the afternoon,even the teachers!!!! The results of our Halloween colouring competition will be announced on the day also.

Thank you to all the families who returned their water surveys recently. It was a great help to our Green School Flag Folder. Thank you also to everyone who helped us out so much with our Cash For Clobber Collection. We were delighted with the number of bags collected.
