t is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fr. Sam Holmes, recently retired Parish Priest of the parishes of Aughavas and Cloone, and Chairperson of our Board of Management until his illness who passed away  Monday, Sept. 22nd - at St Vincent's Hospital, Dublin. We extend sincere sympathy to his family,his former parishioners and to his many friends here in Cloone We will miss his gentle presence among us.
