Fatima N.S.Bike Week Event 2015

Mrs Murphy has more which we will post later.....This was a wonderful day and the children...and adults....had a ball .Thank you to all the parents who turned out to help to steward and to support. The event was supported by Leitrim Sports Partnership and thank you to Pat O Toole for helping organise the events on the pitch that day.

We were delighted to have a display of electric bikes from Eileen in Electric Bike Trails Ltd in Leitrim Village. The electric bikes are amazing fun and so easy to cycle.Definitely worth trying out if you have visitors over the summer! Halfords Longford and Trail Blazers Carrick also sent representatives to carry out the bicycle "Health checks" . Tyres ,brakes.saddle height,handlebars all got the once over and the our new Green School co-ordinator arrived to ensure all had bells for their bikes and hi-vis jackets, The mechanics from Halfords surprised all the kids with a goodie bag at the end of the day
