Thank you to Leitrim Sports Partnership for grant assisting our Bike Day. Thank you to all the parents who turned up to support us and help steward the cyclists. Thank you to the Gardai from Carrick-on-Shannon who sent the squad car to escort some very excited cyclists ...flashing blue lights and siren made them feel very special as they left the school. Thank you to Cloone GAA for the use of the wonderful facilities at the pitch especially the running track.
Special thanks to Seamus Gibbons from Electric Bike Trails Leitrim Village for bringing his electric bikes, his kiddie cart and the star of the shoe , the electric tandem.
This year also we had a "background team" who assisted in marshalling the cyclists.running the activities, and carrying equipment to and from the pitch...so to Maureen, Helen, James and Kevin a special thank you.
