The beauty of the bog garden

It is four years since we first established the Bog garden in the poorly drained section across from the front door. During those four years it has matured beautifully and the birch trees have formed a lovely arch either side of the bark mulch path. This year as we are working towards our  5th Green School Flag for Biodiversity we are repairing some wear and tear damage to this area and we will be adding some more plants. Mother Nature has added some beautiful little gems to the area including these beautiful little toadstools we found in the bog garden today
